Chief Executive Officer (CEO), SSD Academy

Ziabul Haque (Zia) is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Step-Up Skill Development (SSD) Academy, SSD IT FIRM and the SSD Youth Foundation. A dedicated social entrepreneur and TVET strategist based in Cox's Bazar, he leads the institution’s overarching vision, strategic partnerships, and multi-sector skills development initiatives. He is committed to fostering youth entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and sustainable socio-economic development across the coastal region.

Khaled Mosaraf

Chief Operating Officer (COO) & TVET Expert, SSD Academy

As Chief Operating Officer and TVET Expert, he oversees all operational activities of SSD Academy, ensuring the effective management of academic and administrative functions. He is responsible for managing the academy’s overall operations, including regular classes, training programs, project implementation, and organizational development to ensure quality education and efficient performance.

With over six years of experience in the IT sector and an academic background in Computer Science and Technology, he brings strong technical knowledge and practical expertise to technical and vocational education and training (TVET). He focuses on improving operational systems, enhancing learning environments, and ensuring effective program delivery.

Through strategic planning, team coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives, he plays a key role in strengthening the academy’s performance and supporting sustainable growth.

Eng. K. M. Shakib Ullah

Accounts & HR Officer, SSD Academy

K. M. Shakib Ullah serves as the Accounts & HR Officer at SSD Academy. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) alongside extensive administrative, technical, and TVET instructional experience, he oversees human resource operations, payroll, daily accounting, and financial management. Shakib ensures organizational compliance, smooth staff management, and sound fiscal administration across all academy departments.

Chief Development Officer (CDO), SSD Academy

Md. Adil serves as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at SSD Academy. Bringing an academic background in Economics and extensive experience across market linkages, public-private partnerships, and vocational program management, he drives the academy's strategic expansion and stakeholder engagement. He focuses on building robust industry networks, expanding career pathways for trainees, and creating sustainable development initiatives that enhance youth employability and local enterprise growth.

Serving on the Advisory Board of SSD Academy, this development strategist brings over 9 years of dedicated experience supporting rights-based development, skills generation, and climate-resilience initiatives across humanitarian and vulnerable communities in Bangladesh. With an extensive background coordinating flagship UNDP and a2i programmes, the Advisory Board provides vital strategic insight into youth employment frameworks, gender-inclusive programming, government system strengthening, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Serving on the Advisory Board of SSD Academy, this distinguished TVET and skills development strategist brings 16 years of multifaceted experience across national skills projects, curriculum development, and youth employment programming. Having led key initiatives under ADB-financed programs (SICIP, SEIP), UNICEF, UCEP Bangladesh, and BRAC, the Advisory Board provides vital strategic guidance on competency-based training frameworks, second-chance education, employer engagement, and large-scale job placement systems.
