The 23-member consultative session focused on trade-specific standardization across five technical curricula, quality monitoring, and establishing robust post-training employment pathways for Qawmi madrasa graduates.
On July 27, 2026, Step-Up Skill Development Academy (SSD Academy), in close collaboration with consortium partners Reliance Technical Institute (RTI) and Sharif Technical Training Institute (STTI), successfully conducted a strategic workshop titled "Quarterly Progress Review, Target Specification & Trainer Guidelines" under the ILO-ISEC Project at Hotel Beach Park, Cox’s Bazar.
The workshop convened 23 participants—including lead technical trainers, operations personnel, consortium leadership, and distinguished representatives from the International Labour Organization (ILO)—to align programmatic targets and enhance training quality for Qawmi madrasa pre-vocational graduates.
Key Focus Areas & Outcomes:
Progress Tracking & Review: Analyzed operational milestones, batch attendance metrics, and practical field learnings across all active institutional training centers.
Standardized Trade Delivery: Facilitated specialized breakout sessions to harmonize lesson plans, practical assessment benchmarks, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) protocols across five trades: Graphic Design, Tailoring & Dress Making, Electrical Installation & Maintenance, Digital Marketing, and Primary Health Care Services.
Job Placement & Linkage Strategy: Formulated actionable transition roadmaps linking graduates directly with local industry apprenticeships, micro-enterprise incubation, and freelancing avenues.
