About the role

The Department of Youth Development (DYD), Cox’s Bazar, is seeking a highly skilled Training Coordinator for its "Leaving No One Behind: Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for the Women and Youth in Cox’s Bazar (ISEC)" project. This is a high-impact, contractual role for seven months (May 1 to November 30, 2026), focused on enhancing the technical and vocational landscape of the region. The position is based in Cox’s Bazar and involves extensive coordination between government bodies, training providers, and international partners like the ILO.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities The Training Coordinator will act as a technical lead and liaison to ensure the quality and delivery of vocational programs. Core duties include: • Curriculum & Standards: Leading work related to NTVQF/BNQF training and the development of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) learning materials. • Program Oversight: Providing technical support and supervision for TVET programs to ensure alignment with national frameworks. • Operational Coordination: Managing resources and activities for Skills Training Providers (STPs) and Registered Training Organizations (RTOs), including facility management and training schedules. • Strategic Liaison: Serving as the primary point of contact between the DYD, training providers, and the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Requirements

Job Requirements To be eligible for this role, candidates must demonstrate a strong blend of academic excellence and specialized field experience: • Education: A Bachelor’s in Engineering (B.Sc/BEngg) or a Master’s degree in Development Studies, Business Management, Economics, or Social Sciences. • Certification: Must hold NC-IV Certifications in CBT&A (Competency-Based Training & Assessment). • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, specifically within development agencies. • Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing CBT programs aligned with the National Technical and Vocational Qualification Framework (NTVQF/BNQF).
