Rozina Akter is a seasoned development professional, TVET coordinator, and project strategist who directs training execution and employment placement systems under the ILO-ISEC Project at SSD Academy. She brings more than 15 years of proven field experience in vocational education coordination, donor compliance, monitoring and evaluation, and multi-stakeholder partnerships across humanitarian and development settings.

Throughout her career, Rozina has served in key project coordination and consultancy roles for major development initiatives funded by UNDP, Global Affairs Canada (GAC), GCERF, and Plan International. She has managed prevocational training programs, led public-private stakeholder dialogues, organized job fairs, and coordinated specialized vocational interventions for youth, women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and religious minority groups. At SSD Academy, she bridges quality training delivery with private sector partnerships to drive high-impact trainee placement and sustainable livelihood outcomes.

  • Training Program Coordination: Overseeing competency-based training delivery, lesson planning, and monitoring across trade centers to ensure strict compliance with project and national standards.
  • Job Placement & Employer Linkages: Building and maintaining active partnerships with industries, corporate employers, and local businesses to facilitate apprenticeship and job placement pipelines.
  • Job Fairs & Career Counseling: Organizing career orientation sessions, job fairs, employer networking events, and post-training employment tracking.
  • Stakeholder & Donor Engagement: Coordinating regular liaison with government authorities, partner NGOs, community leaders, and donor representatives.
  • Inclusion & Quality Assurance: Ensuring gender-sensitive, inclusive training environments for vulnerable populations, including women, persons with disabilities, and marginalized youth.
